Dr. Kathryn Eikenhorst is a NSW based General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2011, completing her MBBS as a post-graduate student with an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Natural and Complementary Medicine. In 2018 she obtained a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practice. Kathryn is a committed rural clinician, having worked in rural NSW for thirteen years and more recently in remote locations practicing skin cancer medicine. She is now undertaking training subspecialty training in skin cancer medicine and has a passion for preventative medicine and Nutrigenetics. Kathryn strives to provide high quality, preventive, holistic and integrative healthcare to her patients.
Kathryn is passionate about improving the sustainability of General Practice in Australia and helping colleges prevent professional burnout by educating them regarding working smarter and not harder. She is a role model for those who want to achieve a work life balance as a medical professional. Kathryn is one of the very first BFD presenters who started travelling all areas of Australia delivering MBS education with Dr Armstrong since 2019. She has been a cornerstone of MBS education by continuously adding values and providing support to create MBS education materials.
