Many GPs are now trained in delivering Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS), and many could benefit from the training and utilising FPS in practice. We will explore FPS and the different ways you can incorporate them into your practice. Case studies about several GPs who use FPS in different ways will be presented, as well as illustrations of how several FPS skills might be utilised in individual consults. You will come away with greater direction and confidence in utilising FPS plus a few skills to put into practice.
