Dr Lily Vrtik graduated from University of Western Australia in 1999. She qualified as a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon in 2009. Apart from a busy private practice, she also holds a public consultant position at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Vrtik has special interest in medicolegal matters, and works as both risk assessor and adviser for both private indemnity company and also public regulators. She completed her Masters in Health Law at the Sydney Law School in 2022.
Having spent most of her university life working as a piano teacher, Lily continues her enthusiasm for teaching. She is regularly involved in educational sessions from clinical topics, medicolegal seminars to career support workshops for medical students, junior doctors and specialists.
Lily plays many roles outside her clinical practice, this includes her services as a specialist reservist in RAAF, marketing manager for the Queensland Medical Orchestra and her position in advocacy as a board director with ASAPS (Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).
