Dr Mary Lumsden qualified from the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2004, completing speciality training in General Practice in 2011. She emigrated to the Island of Tasmania in 2014 where she has made her home with 2 black Labradors Dory and Pearl. She has a specialist interest in Women’s health including insertion of IUDs and holds specialty diplomas in women’s health and family planning. After initially working as a contractor and locum GP she opened her first GP clinic in early 2019, Brighton Regional Doctors. She is passionate about GP ownership in Primary Care. Outside of Medicine, she enjoys scuba diving and niche English sports cars.
