Burnout develops in response to chronic stressful work demands, and is felt as exhaustion, and perhaps a sense of distance from our work and less efficiency.

Right now, it is reported that there is a ‘global epidemic of burnout’. More than ever we need to adopt prevention strategies, know how to recognise it and how to manage it.

Recent research has highlighted a range of key strategies for burnout.
